A motorcyclist was treated by paramedics after a collision with a car - right in front of an ambulance, fire engine and police car.
The incident happened at the roundabout where Berwick Way, Strood, meets the A228, near The San Parelli pub at 12.30pm.
Fire crews and police worked to control the flow of traffic while a paramedic from the ambulance got out help to motorcyclist.
One of the fire fighters who was near the crash when it occurred said: "The motorcyclist had collided with the car and was quite bruised and couldn't get up.
"It was very lucky it happened with an ambulance, a police car and us nearby.
"The ambulance did already have somebody inside it who they were transporting to hospital so they called for back up and another quickly came along and took the motorcyclist to hospital."
The extend of the injuries is not yet known, but they are not thought to be life-threatening.
The emergency services were at the scene for around 20 minutes.
