A stretch of road was partially blocked following a crash.

The accident along the A229 Blue Bell Hill Maidstone-bound caused delays for drivers this morning.

Police were called at 7.44am to reports of a collision involving a lorry and a car

Congestion was heavy between the M20 J6 and the Lord Lees roundabout. There was also debris on the road.

The crash was cleared and traffic had returned to normal by 9.07am.

Officers confirmed no injuries were reported.
