Motorists face delays on their journey home after a multi-vehicle crash on the M2.

The accident happened on the coastbound carriageway between junction 3 for Chatham and junction 4 for Gillingham.

Four vehicles were involved in the smash at about 5pm.

One lane of the motorway is shut, causing traffic to build up in the other lanes.

A spokesman for Kent Police said no-one is thought to have suffered serious injuries in the incident.
