Two fire crews have spent the evening battling a house fire in a residential street.

Flames could be seen breaking through the roof of the property in Tennyson Road, Gillingham, just after 7pm.

Firefighters used a high-pressure hose to deal with the fire.

There are no reports of any injuries and the cause of the incident has not yet been established.
