Firefighters were called to reports of a blaze on the Medway City Estate near Strood just after 6.30am this morning.

Crews in breathing apparatus used thermal imaging cameras, a hose reel and ladders to tackle the fire in a building in Sextant Park in Neptune Close.

A special fan was also used to clear smoke from the building.

There were no reports of any casualties and firefighters handed duty of care to Kent Police just before 8am.
