Firefighters were called out to put out a barn fire in a village in Rochester yesterday evening and when they arrived on the scene it was well alight.
Crews from Hoo and Strood fire stations spent almost an hour fighting the fire which broke out in the single-story agricultural barn in Binney Road, Allhallows, at about 6.20pm.
When firefighters arrived at the barn they had to break the lock off the door to gain access to it and fight the fire.
It is understood the barn was being used as a storage area.
It is not known how the fire started and the crews were able to leave the scene at about 7.10pm.
