Firefighters tackled a blaze at a derelict building in Medway.
Four fire engines and a height vehicle were called to the scene at the junction of Hawthorn Road and Darnley Road, in Rochester, at about 5pm.
Residents in the area were urged to keep their windows and doors closed due to smoke while crews worked to extinguish the flames.
The fire service says no injuries were reported.
