Firefighters spent two hours at the scene of a garage blaze last night.
Crews were called to a block of 21 garages in Leybourne Road, Strood, at 11.15pm.
One was well alight and another two either side suffered heat and smoke damage.
Twelve firefighters were needed to tackle the flames.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service, said: “The garage was full up with household items and we had to get these out to make sure the fire didn't start again, that process took quite some time.
“The garage had an asbestos roof so we have to wear dust masks while we were fighting the fire.”
There are no reports of any injuries.
Crews left the scene just after 1am. It is not known at this stage how the fire started.
