Flames rose high from the roof of a house in Chatham this morning as emergency crews tackled a raging fire.
Smoke poured from the home in Grosvenor Avenue, where fire crews worked hard to fight the blaze.
Police and paramedics were also called to the scene.
The fire - which is now out - started in the roof space of the property shortly before 9am.
A spokesman for the fire service said at the time: "Kent Fire and Rescue Service is at the scene of a fire involving a property in Grosvenor Avenue in Chatham.
"Crews are working hard to contain the fire, which is in the roof space, and firefighters are using breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and a fog spike to tackle the blaze. It's unclear at this stage how the fire started."
Police say officers were called to the scene at 9.15am to support the fire and ambulance services.
A spokesman said no one has been reported injured.
An investigation has now been launched to establish the cause of the fire.
