Cyclist taken to hospital after crash on Walderslade Woods Road at Forestdale Road junction

A cyclist was seriously injured in a collision.

The incident took place at around 7.15pm on Thursday, June 6, on the A2045 Walderslade Woods Road at its junction with Forestdale Road, near Chatham.

The collision involved a cyclist and a white Mercedes A180.

The cyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to a local hospital.

His injuries were described as serious. He is in a stable condition.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw the car or the cyclist before the collision, or those with dash cam footage from the area to get in contact with them.
