Parents have until tomorrow to lodge an appeal if they are unhappy with their child's 11-plus results.
Medway Council has received almost 90 complaints following delays and disruptions at this year's all-important Medway Test.
The exams overran by 90 minutes at Rainham School for Girls and Chatham Grammar School for Boys because instructions were missing from the English paper.
Parents received the results last Friday and Saturday. If their child has not passed, they have until tomorrow (Friday) to ask for an independent review into their work to decide if grammar school is right for them.
The panel is given a selection of the child's work provided by their school and, for the first time, the review panel will be told what happened at each test centre.
A Medway Council spokesman said: "The review panel will assess each child's academic suitability for a grammar school place based on the evidence provided by the school.
"The review panel will also be told what happened at each test centre and will see the parent's reasons for requesting a review in each case, which they can use to put the academic work in context."
Last year, 249 children were reviewed by the panel and 56 were selected to go to grammar school.
Parents will be told the outcome of their child's review on Wednesday, October 26. The closing date for secondary school applications is just five days later on Monday, October 31.
