Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish has made defenceman Tim Smith his first summer signing.

Smith, pictured, first joined the club for the 2007/08 season from the Peterborough Islanders and will now start his fourth consecutive campaign on the Mos roster.

Last season he made 36 appearances and his tally of 30 points and consistent performances helped him win the defenceman-of-the-year award.

Parrish said: "Tim had a great year last year and he was solid week in, week out.

"Before and during the season, he worked hard on his fitness and this paid dividends as his game matured and took another step forward."

In total, Smith has made 110 appearances for the Dynamos, scoring 78 points in the process with six goals and 72 assists.
