A crash between a car and a motorbike caused delays on a busy main road this afternoon.

Police were called at 2.21pm after a smash between a Volkswagen Polo and a motorbike in Ash Tree Lane, Chatham.

The road was temporarily closed whilst officers were at the scene, which caused delays for motorists on the A2 Rainham Road.

The road is now fully reopened and there are no reported injuries.
