Firefighters cut a woman free from a car on the M2.

Emergency services were called to the eastbound exit slip road at junction three near Blue Bell Hill at about 5.20pm.

The woman, in her 40s, was trapped in the car by her injuries and crews used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the roof of the vehicle.

She was handed over to paramedics for further treatment.

There were delays near the junction and on Blue Bell Hill following the single car crash.
