Motorists suffered delays after a crash involving three vehicles on the M2.

Two lanes were blocked between J2 for Strood and J3 for Chatham just before 5.30pm.

Emergency services were sent to the scene.

A police spokesman earlier said: "Officers are currently at the scene alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service. Injuries have been reported.

"Lane closures are in place in lanes 1 and 2 while officers and paramedics deal with the incident."

Highways officials confirmed the road fully reopened just before 8pm.
