A suitcase stolen just before a family were due leave for Disneyland Paris has turned up dumped at a county park.
Last week, KentOnline reported how the Easton family were due to travel to the French theme park but cancelled after their luggage was stolen.
Danielle Easton, her partner Jack Hall and their daughters - aged two and four - were staying at the Spring River Hotel in Welton before catching the Eurostar from nearby Ebbsfleet.
They brought their luggage down to their van and went back inside to have breakfast and check out, but when they opened the boot, it was empty apart from a buggy and a pair of wellies.
Miss Easton's suitcase appeared at Ranscombe Farm in Cuxton on Saturday morning - 10 days after the theft.
Tony Spalding, who lives in the nature reserve, found it next to a pile of rubbish.
His wife Allison said: "We looked inside and there was lots of Disney stuff and a 30th birthday card for someone called Danni.
"I put it on Facebook and then we got lots of comments. I managed to get in contact with Danielle.
"She immediately contacted the police."
The pair managed to find each other after commenters posted the KenOnline article on her Facebook post.
Miss Easton said: "Allison has been absolutely amazing I couldn't believe it when she contacted me.
"To be honest, it could not have gone any better because I've got all our Disney stuff back and my birthday messages."
Allison also spotted a Facebook post which seemed to show another suitcase, which matched the stolen one's description, in New Road, Chatham.
She drove over but the suitcase had gone.
Police had hoped to take DNA from the found case, but because it had been waterlogged, any evidence would have washed away.
Danielle is planning on driving down to Medway to collect her case if the police cannot send it.
