Woman's car ends up in ditch after crash 'with learner driver' near Four Elms Hill roundabout in Chattenden

This car ended up in a ditch after a crash with another car in Medway this afternoon.

A woman driving the Vauxhall Corsa was involved in a smash with what is believed to have been a learner driver near Four Elms Hill roundabout in Chattenden.

Her vehicle careered into a ditch, but the woman is understood to have escaped serious injury.

The crash partially blocked the road at shortly before 12.50pm.

Passer-by Stanley Arrowsmith said: "It looked like a learner driver car and this car had been in collision. The other car had a lot of damage."

A Kent Police spokesman confirmed two cars were involved in the crash and said the driver of the car in the ditch was not seriously injured.

The road was fully reopened at about 1.45pm.
