Chart-topping musician Dizzee Rascal has been spotted at a theme park in Kent.
The rapper paid a visit to Diggerland in Medway Valley Leisure Park, Strood on Saturday with friends and family.
One visitor who was there at the same time as him said Dizzee was talking to people in the queues and took photos with other guests.
They said: “He seemed so lovely and down to earth.
“I really wanted to go up to him and ask for a photo, but it's awkward when he's trying to enjoy a day with his family. He did smile at me though.”
A spokesperson for the theme park said: "We were thrilled to welcome Dizzee Rascal and his family to Diggerland.
"We're delighted that they had a fantastic day with us and hope to welcome them back again soon."
The artist, whose real name is Dylan Mills, first made a name for himself in the early ‘00s for his influential work in the British grime scene.
His debut album, Boy in da Corner, earned him the Mercury Prize in 2003 and has since been certified Platinum, selling more than 300,000 copies.
He is also well known for his hits ‘Bonkers’ and ‘Dance Wiv Me’ which topped charts in the late 2000s and has also collaborated with a number of acclaimed artists such as Calvin Harris and Florence and the Machine.
However, in March 2022 the musician was forced to temporarily put his career on hold after being convicted of domestic violence.
Dizzee, from Knockholt near Sevenoaks, is not the first celebrity to give Diggerland a visit.
They have also entertained the likes of DIY SOS’ Nick Knowles, comedian Keith Lemon and Youtuber KSI.
The Medway-based theme parks has rides and allows people to drive various diggers and excavators.
It also has branches in Devon, Durham and Yorkshire, with its head office in Kent.
