A driver had to be cut from his car after his vehicle ploughed straight through a fence and landed in a field.
The motorist, thought to be in his 40s, crashed his Renault Clio in Pear Tree Lane, Gillingham, in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters from Medway station were called at about 1.30am.
They used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof from the vehicle and helped paramedics lift out the injured man.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were on the scene for about 45 minutes and helped get the man onto a long board.
"Paramedics had put a neck brace on him and then he was taken to hospital for treatment."
He is not though to have suffered serious injuries.
The man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and released on police bail pending inquiries.
