Drivers taken to hospital after crash on Wainscott Bypass

Two drivers were taken to hospital after a crash on the Wainscott Bypass.

Emergency services were called at around 9.50am following a collision involving two cars on the Strood-bound carriageway of the road.

Police, paramedics and fire crews attended the scene where the two drivers were treated for injuries.

Both were then taken to hospital for further medical attention.

The carriageway was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and reopened at around 12.45pm.
