A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving following a crash this morning.

Police were called to New Court Road, Burham, near Rochester, by the junction with Church Street at around 8.15am.

The road was blocked at the time after two cars collided.

A police spokesman confirmed a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs.

No life-threatening injuries were reported.
