Police arrest five suspected drug dealers in Rochester raids

Detectives who carried out a series of early morning drugs raids today have arrested five men.

Police swooped on a number of properties in Rochester in coordinated raids at 8am.

The five men were detained on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Police searched homes and a vehicle and they seized drugs, a machete, and mobile phones that they suspect have been used to carry out drug deals.

Detectives continue to carry out their inquiries and would welcome any information from the public concerning drug dealing in the area.
