Dynamos looking to avege defeats

Invicta Dynamos face their bogey side on Sunday at the Gillingham Ice Bowl and are aiming to make it third time lucky.

The Mos have only lost two games this season but both defeats have been to this weekend’s visitors, the Cardiff Dragons.

A Mos victory will help keep the pressure on English National Ice Hockey League Division 1 (South) leaders Bracknell Hornets.

Invicta sit in second place but with games in hand are within sight of the top.

“I’m not sure why they’re our bogey team as they never used to be,” said Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish.

“We played them earlier on in the season and we were awful. We’ve picked up since then and strengthened our squad."

Parrish will welcome back three players who missed last weekend’s ENIHL Cup win over Chelmsford.

Mos won the game 4-3 without influential Slovakian duo Martin Melichercik and Milan Kostolny, as well as Adam Coupland and Tim Smith.

Only Smith (flu) is missing for Sunday’s clash (5.15pm).
