Secretary Tanya Walker has made it to the final of a national beauty pageant for the second year in a row.
The 25-year-old, from Rainham, who works for secretarial and book-keeping company PDQ, is hoping to be crowned Miss Earth England at the pageant in Birmingham next month.
The competition is for contestants who can show awareness of environmental issues.
Animal lover Tanya volunteers at the RSPCA centre in Leybourne near Maidstone every week.
She said she has always had ambitions of modelling. She entered the Miss British Isles contest three years ago and finished in the top 16.
"I just applied to see how well I did. This time round I'm sponsored by a company called Front Promotions. I got noticed at the last pageant," she said.
"It feels really good, I really enjoy doing them and to be in the final again is really good. You do travel around but it's worth it."
The final of Miss Earth England is on Sunday September 11.
