The grieving widow of a young father killed in a crash with a lorry has today paid tribute to her "darling bumblebee".
Edward Stanley, from Hoo, near Rochester, died after a van he was driving was involved in a smash with an articulated lorry.
The 28-year-old "decent, honest, hard-working man" leaves behind wife Joanna - who he had been in a relationship since he was 15 - and eight-month-old daughter Willow.
An inquest into the death of Mr Stanley, of Hedge Rows, was opened and adjourned today.
"He was a very proud man and no more so of his wife and baby daughter, these to him were his greatest achievements in his short live life..." - widow Joanna Stanley
In a statement released by police, wife Joanna said: "Edward 'Eddie/Eduardo' Stanley was a very laid back man who adored his partner Joanna of 13 years, married for three, his eight-month-old daughter Willow and all of his family and friends.
"He was considered by all who knew him to be a very decent honest hardworking man who provided for his family.
"He was a very proud man and no more so of his wife and baby daughter, these to him were his greatest achievements in his short live life.
"He was a devoted supporter of Arsenal Football Club and saw them through their highest moments and through their lowest. Eddie will be missed by all who loved him and his memory will be carried on for his daughter.
"Until we meet again my darling, love you millions, bumblebee."
The fatal crash happened on the A1306 Arterial Road, in Purfleet, Essex, on Wednesday, July 17.
Mr Stanley was driving a Ford Iveco van involved in a collision with an articulated lorry.
