Part of Rochester's Christmas market was cordoned off this afternoon due to a medical emergency.
Sections of the castle gardens were closed while medics dealt with the patient.
Ambulances were called to the event at about 4.30pm and carol singing was cut short to allow an ambulance through.
An eyewitness said: "They closed off a large part of the market. There were lots of security people, about 20 or 30, holding up barriers, and a couple of ambulances."
