A learner driver has been slapped with a ticket for uninsured driving – the night before taking his test.
The BMW driver was pulled over by police in Chatham today.
Kent Police Medway told on Twitter how officers had been on patrol when they noticed the vehicle was not insured.
They said: "Further checks showed the driver is provisional licence holder only. He was due to take his driving test tomorrow! Ticket issued and driver reported."
It's far from the first brush with the law had by a learner driver in the county.
Earlier this month, an unqualified driver was stopped by officers in Ashford after pulling out of a petrol station with no lights on – in an uninsured car.
