Bomb disposal teams have been called in after an "unexploded bomb" was found in a village.
Handyman Barry Parrish discovered the suspected war time device behind a bench in stables along Dux Court Road, Hoo, yesterday evening.
He reported it to the Ministry of Defence who were set to arrive in the village at around 11.30am today to put up a 100-metre exclusion zone.

Mr Parrish said: "I found it in some stables behind a bench and reported it immediately.
"I was a bit shocked, but I've seen them before.
"I've moved it to a safer place on the lawn and police have told me the Ministry of Defence will be coming to deal with it."
A Ministry of Defence spokesman said: "An Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal team from the Royal Logistics Corps was called out to Ducks Court Road, Hoo, Kent, at around 10am this morning, at the request of local police.
"The team arrived shortly after 11am and found a WW2 1kg German air-dropped incendiary bomb which was destroyed by demolition.”
Police have been approached for more information.
