Search continues for Ben Savage, who went missing after leaving Tap N Tin in Chatham

The last known photo of Ben Savage has emerged as search teams continue their hunt for the missing teenager.

Concerns are growing for the 18-year-old, who has not been seen since leaving the Tap N Tin in Railway Street, Chatham in the early hours of Tuesday.

Now, a photo is being circulated showing Ben with friends in the nightclub in the hours before he disappeared.

It comes as worried friends launch a Find Ben Facebook appeal. They are mounting a search party, which is meeting outside the Tap at 4.30pm today.

Police, the Medway Coastguard team, Sheerness Inshore Lifeboat crew and about 40 Kent Search and Rescue volunteers have been involved in the search.

Teams were stood down at around 7pm yesterday but will continue to search the River Medway at low tide today.

Yesterday, Ben's mother Tara Savage told KentOnline she was going out of her mind with worry, and that her son's disappearance was out of character.

It was initially thought Ben was seen walking towards Gillingham after leaving the pub, but after his family looked at CCTV, it was confirmed this person was not him.

His family and friends have been searching the streets, parks and playing fields.

Anyone who may have seen Ben or knows where he might be is urged to call police on 999.
