A Post Office has proposed to relocate to a convenience store and increase its opening times by 65 hours.
It is currently at in Luton High Street, Luton, Chatham, is hoping to move half a mile away to McColl's in Luton Road, Chatham.
If given the go ahead the new-style branch will have an open-plan counter and extend its opening hours.
The proposed hours are to open from 6am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday, as well as 7am to 10pm on Sundays.
This would be an extra 65 hours of service a week, opening earlier and closing later than before.
Post Office account executive Adam Williams said: “We are making it easier for customers to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking because we know how important these services are to local residents.
"We are confident that this vibrant new-style Post Office at the heart of the local community will meet customer needs.
"This modernisation is part of a major investment programme..."

A public consultation on the plans is opened today for customers or any interested parties to give their opinions.
People can share their views online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 086941.
The consultation will close on September 17.
