MEDIEVAL madrigals and the tragic tale of Henry VIII will fill the crypt at Rochester Cathedral when 100 guests sit down to a Tudor banquet.
The six wives story, called The Magpie, has been written by a canon of the Cathedral Tony Powell.
It’s designed to be staged as a one woman play, and will be performed by Kate Glassock.
Madrigals will be sung by members of the Cathedral Special Choir.
All but the 30 of the tickets, which cost £20, have been sold for next Thursday's performance.
They are available from the campaign office on 01634 817930, or can be ordered by email at campaign@rochestercathedral.org.
