Honey, wax, mead, cakes, sweets and photographs are all to be judged at a beekeepers event in Gillingham this weekend.

Tomorrow, Saturday, a judge will be called in to decide on some of the best products produced by bees owned by members of the Medway and County Kent Beekeepers Association.

The event will be held at Wyevale Garden Centre, Capstone Road, on Saturday and Sunday.

The Medway and County Kent Beekeepers Association has about 70 members.
