A derelict Scout hut in Great Lines, Gillingham caught fire

Fire crews tackled a blaze at a derelict former Scout hut.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire at the building in Great Lines, Gillingham, just after 6pm yesterday (Tuesday).

Two fire engines were sent and crews took just 15 minutes to extinguish the flames using a high pressure hose reel jet.

No injuries were reported and the cause is not yet known.
