Fire crews were called to tackle a flat fire.
Four fire engines were called to Fox Street in Gillingham on Friday, March 6 at 2pm.
Black smoke was coming from the third floor of the building.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a short extension ladder, a hose reel jet and covering jet to tackle the blaze.
Two people from the flat were outside when crews arrived.
They were passed on to the care of paramedics and were treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause is believed to be accidental.
