Three fire engines attended and crews assisted paramedics with three people who suffered minor injuries.

There is speculation that the club, in Springvale, Wigmore, had been targeted in a “noxious attack”.

However, this has not been confirmed and the cause is not yet known.

One person told KentOnline that those in attendance reported feeling ill, were being sick and told to wash their clothes.

The emergency services had left the scene by 11.20pm.

The club has been contacted for comment.
