Firefighters tackled a blaze in a Gillingham house this morning.
At around 5.30am, two fire engines were sent to a bedroom fire at a property in Hazlemere Drive.
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews extinguished the blaze with hose reel jets, before using high pressured fans to clear the property of smoke. The fire was put out within the hour.
No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.
