Three people needed treatment after a garage fire at a house in Cliffe, near Rochester.
The fire in Church Street started at about 4.40pm today and was attended by six fire engines and a height vehicle.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said crews managed to contain the fire to the single property.
Crews were at the scene for about two hours and provided aid at the scene to three casualties, who were left in the care of ambulance paramedics from SECAmb.
