Part of a building's roof had to be removed as firefighters attempted to tackle a blaze at a business.
Firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a a firm in Motney Hill Road, Rainham earlier today.
Four fire engines and a technical rescue team were sent to the scene just before 11.30am.
Crews used specialist cutting equipment to remove part of the roof of the building.
Meanwhile team members wore breathing apparatus to enter the building and put out the flames.
A high pressured fan was then used to clear the area of smoke.
It’s believed the fire started accidentally due to an electrical fault within an industrial machine.
No one was injured during the incident.
