Firefighters called to chimney fire, Walderslade Road, Chatham

Firefighters tackled a chimney blaze at a home in Chatham this morning.

Two crews were called to Walderslade Road at 8.23am.

A liner in the chimney had caught fire, after the homeowner lit a fire last night.

Firefighters used chimney rods to put out the blaze and used a hose reel to tackle it from outside.
