Firefighters were forced to take out the window of a woman's house and winch her to safety after paramedics could not move her to their ambulance.
The woman, believed to be in her late fifties, was unconscious and was said to be too large to be moved by paramedics, so a crew from Medway fire station came to the property in Redvers Road, Chatham, on Saturday.
Firefighters took out the first floor window of the house and used a height vehicle to take her out, she was then put in the ambulance and taken to hospital.
The crew were at the scene for an hour and a hazard area response team was also on hand.
