Firefighters were called to put out a shed blaze thought to have been sparked by a firework.

The fire broke out in a shed behind a terraced home in Churchill Avenue, Chatham, at about 9.50pm on Tuesday.

A young couple were in the house and two crews from Medway fire station took half an hour to put out the blaze.

Firefighters believe the fire was started when the firework went off on its own.
