Plans for five flats above a town centre bank have been submitted to the council.
If approved, second floor offices at Barclays Bank in High Street, Chatham, would be turned into new homes.
Medway Council has received a change of use application for the proposals which would see three one-bedroom units and two two-bedroom units made.
All five flats would come with a kitchen and lounge and there would be no external changes to the town centre building.
You can view the plans on the local authority's planning portal, with reference MC/22/2971.
It is unclear whether or not the bank will be affected by the development.
Barclays Bank was approached for comment but declined to comment on the plans or future of the site.
The building's landlord has also been asked for more information.
