Flowers have been left at the scene where a man was stabbed to death after a suspected argument.
The victim, who has been named locally as Tony, was killed in Fox Street, Gillingham, on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 1.10pm, where the 35-year-old man was declared dead.
Flowers and cards have been left in the street where he died.
One card reads: "RIP Tony. Not always a saint, but forever an angel. You will be missed."
Another reads: "Tony, a dear son-in-law to be. Rest in peace."
Officers have been at the scene, searching the area, and seized a knife that is due to undergo further testing.
People living in the street spoke of their shock.
One witness said: "It happened in the alley opposite the library, near to The Monarch pub."
Some residents could not get back to their homes while the cordon remained in place on Friday.
Forensic teams were still there on Saturday.
Yesterday police released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to as part of their investigation.
Officers have also appealed for those with dashcams who may have been in the area at the time, either driving or parked, to get in touch.
They want to hear from anyone who was in: High Street, Jeffery Street, King Street, Balmoral Road, Railway Street, Malborough Road, Lock Street, Britton Street and Skinner Street.
No arrests have been made.
