The former NatWest bank in Hoo could be turned into a kebab and pizza shop, if plans for the site are given the go ahead.
The owner of Anatolia Kebab House in Knights Road, Hoo, is hoping to move the business to the former bank in Main Road, after the lease expires.
The owner has applied for planning permission to change the bank into a fast food takeaway and restaurant.
If plans are given the go-ahead the kebab shop would be open between noon and 11pm, seven days a week and employ seven full-time staff.
The site has been vacant for two years after the bank closed in 2014, despite a campaign organised by former Medway councillor Chris Irvine.
