Forwards Nicky Lewis and Peter Vaisanen both netted hat-tricks as Invicta Dynamos hammered Oxford Stars 11-2.

The win maintains the Dynamos’ 100 per cent record and keeps them among the English National Ice Hockey League Division 1 (South) pacesetters.

Dynamos were 3-0 up at the end of the first period. Peter Vaisanen got the opener, before two more followed from Laurence Billing and Nicky Lewis.

Grant Bailey pulled one back for Oxford, but the goals were soon flying in again at the other end as Vaisanen and Lewis both got their seconds and Andy Smith made it five.

Bailey again struck for Oxford only for the Dynamos to hit five more goals without reply.

Anthony Lennon and Jack Tarczycki were on target, Peter Vaisanen and Lewis completed their hat-tricks and Andy Smith wrapped up his brace.
