Four people have been charged with burglary following a large-scale hunt.
Police were called to Rochester Road in Cuxton on September 29 to reports of a suspected burglary.
Just before midday officers carried out a search of the area and were joined by coastguard teams and the RAF helicopter.
Two teenagers and two men have now been charged in connection with two incidents - a burglary at a dwelling in Station Road and an attempt burglary in Rochester Road.
Two boys ages 16 and 17 from Sittingbourne has been charged with burglary and attempted burglary with intent to steal.
Jonathon Tyron Earnshaw, 23, of no fixed address, has been charged with burglary, attempted burglary with intent to steal and with shoplifting in High Street, Sittingbourne, on 22 September.
David Charles Brunger, 23, of Eagles Close, Murston, has been charged with burglary, attempted burglary with intent to steal and criminal damage to a police cell door window.
All four have been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on December 9, 2014.
At the time of the mass search Richard Rodgers, deputy station officer for the Medway Coastguard, said: "The police were responding to burglaries in the area and were chasing people who ran on to the marshes in the river. One of them swam out to some boats."
