Women across Medway can join a series of fun, no pressure activities as part of Woman’s Sport Week.
Tomorrow a series of sessions are being held at Medway Park in Gillingham. The morning is aimed at mothers while the evening is open to all.
The day gets under way with a rollabout play session from 10.15am to 11.45am, where mums can talk fitness over a drink and cake, while their little ones let off steam on the play equipment.
A Tough Mumma fitness class is running from 10.45am to 11.30am (minimum five months post-natal), followed by a Buggy Mumma class from 11.45am to 12.30pm.
Buggy Mumma is an outdoor exercise class for new mums, after their six to eight week GP check, with specialist non-impact, strengthening exercises that you can do while pushing your baby in a buggy.
There will also be a Toddle Waddle and picnic around Medway Park athletics track from 11.45am
Girls’ Night starts from 8pm with high intensity interval training, body conditioning, legs, bums and tums workouts and a boot camp.
Netball, handball, pickleball, badminton, tennis and table tennis sessions are also on offer.
No booking is required, and women and girls, over the age of 14, can just turn up, have fun and try something new in a no-pressure, safe environment.
