A Gills fan set off on a marathon-length tour of iconic London football stadiums along with a host of stars.
Justin Foote, from Iwade, Sittingbourne, joined Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling and more than 200 walkers and English footballers for March for Men.
The group trekked 26.2 miles, taking in the stadiums of West Ham United, Charlton Athletic, Millwall, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur while raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.
Justin got behind the campaign after his dad underwent tests for the disease earlier this year.
The procurement manager, 44, said: “My grandad passed away from prostate cancer in the ‘90s and my dad was tested for it in April and May.
“It was a chance to give back for the service he received at Medway Maritime Hospital.”
Justin’s dad George was given the all-clear but still has to have regular blood tests.
Justin himself was inspired to get tested and signed up to the March for Men as way to raise money for research.
He said: “It was the first thing I saw that I could get involvement with and I thought it was a 10km walk.
“When I signed up, it said ‘Congrats on signing up for your marathon’!”
He was joined on the walk by his sister Carole Laughton and friend Karl Turner, of Avenue Tennis Club in Gillingham where Justin uses the gym.
Among the stars who also took part were footballers Micky Hazard, David Seaman, Francis Benali and Sir Trevor Brooking.
Also there were TV presenters Chris Kamara and Bianca Westwood and actor Phil Daniels.
Justin added: “It was just an amazing experience to walk with Jeff and the ex-professional footballers. The support I have received from friends and family is phenomenal.”
