Gills player Mark McCammon helped herald the Medway Messenger's new-look Monday paper yesterday.
The striker signed autographs for readers at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre as the Medway Messenger team introduced the revamped title to shoppers.
All those who bought a copy from our special stand were entered into a competition for tickets to the Gills v Charlton game a week on Saturday.
Also there were editor Bob Bounds and kmfm breakfast presenter Oli Kemp, who is pictured with Mark McCammon.

Bob Bounds said: "We're delighted with the way the new-look paper has been received by readers old and new. We want Monday's Medway Messenger to have a brighter, fresh feel to start Medway's week on the right note.
"It's still got the best news stories from around Medway plus a great sports round-up from the weekend but we've also added some new features and given our columnists a makeover too.
"At a time when many newspapers are turning free we're committed to our paid-for newspapers because they are valued by our readers and work for our advertisers."
Monday's Medway Messenger is available via your local newsagent, convenience store or supermarket for just 50p. To find out how you can get both the Monday and Friday papers delivered for free and save on the cover price just call freephone 0800 525450.
