Gills fans will be poring over their diaries and calendars - the League One fixture list is out and there's lots to look forward to.

The list has been eagerly anticipated ever since Gillingham dramatically won promotion via the League Two play-off final.

Mark Stimson's men will begin their season at home to Swindon Town on Saturday, August 8.

Other fixtures to whet the appetite include local derbies against Charlton Athletic, Leyton Orient and Brentford as well as games against Leeds United, Norwich City and Southampton who were all top flight teams in the recent past.
